Materiel training room in stand composition ( UKS) is intended for studying the tank running gear, learning how to adjust control drives, demon-strating maintenance works, replacing assemblies. The training room should be placed in the area not less than 150 m².

Class allows to conduct 50 lessons on 10 topic of technical training out of 60 lessons on 14 topics that are envisaged by the training program.

The set of above mentioned training facilities makes it possible for the per-sonnel to acquire knowledge of the tank T-80U materiel, maintenance, repair, handling of weaponry, instruments and devices, fire control system, firing with-out spending service life and ammunition, to be augmented consequently in the tank itself.

The expenses for acquiring the training facilities may be justified in less than 5 years by saving service life, fuel and lubricants, as well as tank ammunition, while raising the crew training level by no less than 5%, which corresponds to the combat vehicles fleet increasing by no less than 12,5%.
