Gate - single - disk wedge, self - adjusting, on the hinged support with the side leading surfaces. Gate valves are used in the pipelines for liquid and gaseous petroleum product, water and gas pumping. Piece material: housing, wedge, post, flywheel - steel 20 or 25; spindle - steel 20 x 13; asbestos - metal and aluminum gasket, gland stuffing is made out of impregnated asbestos or wired rubberized asbestos. Spindle packing - stuffing gland seal. Gland is tightened up by swing bolts. Gate valves are considered to be maintainable. Owing to the use of sealing rings made out of stainless steel with the increased content of chromium , gate valve service life is not less than 11 years. Guaranteed life - 2000 cycles.
